Barsotti Building
The goal of working with historic structures is to retain the original beauty but give the interior new life and function for todays living and work environments. Some of the challenges are dealing with safety code issues; integrating modern technology into existing infrastructure; finding authentic materials and/or researching reproductions; making good budgetary decisions; and working with contractors who are willing to work within the confines of the structure and take the same pride as I do in a preserving our history.

Barsotti Building Facade 1
Nancy's love of historic buildings led her to purchase this turn-of-the-century Victorian style commercial property in 1989. From the early 1920's it housed a pharmacy and living quarters for the family who operated the drug store. Nancy's attention to preserving the historical details of the structure while adding modern technology created a functional and beautiful environment as well as breathing new life into a wonderful olf building.
